The refill pad has a hard back which helps, when writing. The paper is a good weight, which stops the ink running through to the other side. Overall I am very pleased.

Great customer service. They reached out to make sure that I needed the journal refill as there was already one included with journal and offered a refund if I didn't. It was a gift so had gotten the refill as a spare. I thought that was really nice. Journal is also beautiful 😍
